While it's very possible there will be a BL based battle royale game they wouldn't abandon the single/co-op style of the core games just to do it and with the hype train they've got rolling right now if it's not a classic BL style game that train will go off the rails so quick even Roland would feel it. The arena DLS'c they released were more of a challenge mode and certainly not a battle royale by any stretch. PvP was an afterthought much in the way a placenta is the afterbirth - dead, bloody and something very,very few people sunk their teeth into. Borderlands is all about the wacky setting, story, characters, art and guns. Funny characters, absurd environments, crazy themes, it was all great.Īlso the whole vault concept was awesome, though it’s probably a bit played out now. You're talking about a game that has already had multiple "arena" expansions. I still want a motion activated, self balancing, life sized, Claptrap in the corner of my office. I'd love to have B元 return to the way BL1 worked but I do not see that happening. I loved the universe so much but the company putting out the games are a worthless sack of syphilitic fuck scabs. With the consumer abuse I didn't even buy the last one. so get Keys! from us!, made the game generally worthless, neither of us ever got a decent weapon in that game and there was no way to farm them in a dedicated way. 87 bazillion guns, none of which are useful. I no longer buy season passes as they are a total scam. Also the Season pass gave what has become the standard garbage season pass (arena battle counts as a DLC!), This has since been perfected in the industry to 1 arena battle + 1 DLC divided into 2 parts = 3 DLC!. Then there was them begining the end of season passes by altering the standard (season pass gets you all DLC for the game) and asking for more money after your season pass for new characters and stuff. Oh yeah, the whole key thing was just plain wrong. My thread made it over 400 pages last I checked. The thing that didn't disappear was the XP so player 2 in couch co-op was hosed.

You used to be able to run around the town cracking open red chests to get good stuff, they patched this out and I never found another good weapon.īL 2 had a game breaking bug on the PS3 where the 2nd player could get the points but they all disappeared when teh game was restarted. This started when they patched out the fun in BL. I have since taken on a hate for the devs/publisher.
